The design is based on the Japanese furoshiki wrapping cloth. The outer cotton is a hand dyed genuine indigo cotton and the kit is fastened with a traditional bone peg.
Open out to store needle safely while sewing.

Sakata Sashiko Sampler Kit --- £14.50 - euro 19.00€

The sashiko motifs are typical of Sakata and Tsuruoka in northern Japan. Faux patchwork cotton and tsumugi cotton give the Japanese country look.
