This bag features a traditional Japanese design (wacho), on the bag base teamed with the attractive wavy lines on the bag top. The lining is a contrasting Japanese cotton and the bag is fastened with a real bamboo toggle.

Using bright cottons in traditional patterns this wallhanging was inspired by children's patchwork kimono made up from (supposedly 100 !) scraps given by family, friends and neighbours . Hand or machine quilting.
